In June 2024, CnS Bangla Foundation, a well-known nonprofit organization in Bangladesh, took an important step in improving the quality of life for Sabina Begum, a widow living with her six family members. Sabina’s family had been suffering from the lack of access to clean and safe drinking water for a long time. Every day, they had to walk to other people’s homes to fetch water, a task that was physically exhausting and time-consuming.
The Struggle for Clean Water
For Sabina Begum and her family, the absence of clean water was a significant challenge. As a widow, she faced extra hardship in managing her household and caring for her children. The difficulty of collecting water on a daily basis was an ongoing burden.
A Sustainable Solution – Tube Well Installation
In response to this pressing issue, CnS Bangla Foundation took the initiative to install a tube well at Sabina’s home. This sustainable solution has provided her and her family with easy access to clean, safe drinking water, greatly improving their daily lives.
