In September 2024, CnS Bangla Foundation, a dedicated nonprofit organization in Bangladesh, took a significant step to ease the challenges faced by Ayub Ali, a day laborer living in the Dimla Upazila of Nilphamari District. Due to his limited income, supporting his family and managing daily needs was always a struggle. However, one of the most pressing issues he faced was the lack of access to clean and safe drinking water.
A Daily Struggle for Clean Water
For Ayub Ali and his family, every day presented the challenge of fetching water from distant sources. This task was not only time-consuming but also physically exhausting, affecting their health and overall well-being. The lack of clean water added to their daily struggles, making it even more difficult to maintain a healthy life.
A Sustainable Solution – Installing a Clean Water Tube Well
To alleviate their water-related difficulties, CnS Bangla Foundation took the initiative to install a deep tube well at Ayub Ali’s home. This installation marked the 56th tube well established by the foundation, a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to provide clean water to underserved families and communities.
Impact on Ayub Ali’s Family
With the new tube well in place, Ayub Ali’s family now has easy and reliable access to clean drinking water. This has not only improved their health but also made daily life easier. The burden of fetching water from distant sources is no longer a concern, allowing them to focus on their livelihoods and improving their quality of life.
