In February 2023, CnS Bangla Foundation, a leading nonprofit organization in Bangladesh, began a fundraising campaign to support Tanya, a young woman with a disability. Tanya, who faces significant challenges, relies on her mother’s help to get to college. Despite her difficulties, Tanya has always had dreams of becoming independent and making a positive change in her life.
From Struggles to Success
With the help of CnS Bangla Foundation, we were able to raise a total of 170,000 Taka to help Tanya start her journey towards financial independence. Tanya used the funds to open a small grocery store and tea stall, marking the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey. In addition to this support, Tanya also received assistance from the Prime Minister’s office, which helped her further establish her business.
Today, Tanya is proud to be self-sufficient, and she can now support herself, thanks to the help of CnS Bangla Foundation and its generous supporters. This success story is a testament to the power of community support and the positive impact it can have on an individual’s life.
