Sumaiya Akter, a student of Roumari Girls’ High School, achieved a remarkable 5.0 GPA in the SSC examination, demonstrating her dedication and hard work. However, her journey to success was not easy. During her eighth grade, she lost her father to cancer, which caused severe financial strain on her family.
Among her three siblings, Sumaiya’s elder brother is the only earning member of the family, pursuing his studies at Jagannath University. Due to their financial hardship, Sumaiya’s education was at risk of being interrupted. This is when CnS Bangla Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh, stepped in to support her.
With the help of generous donors, CnS Bangla Foundation took on the responsibility of covering Sumaiya’s educational expenses, ensuring she could continue her studies without any obstacles. This support has helped Sumaiya stay on her path and move closer to her dreams.
