Ramadan & Eid
Ramadan and Eid are important religious and cultural celebrations in Bangladesh. They are also a time for giving and supporting those less fortunate. However, for many families living in poverty, these celebrations bring additional stress, as they struggle to afford the essentials to observe these important events. The CnS Bangla Foundation steps in during Ramadan and Eid to provide support to those in need, ensuring that they too can partake in the joy of these occasions.
Ramadan Gift Campaign
During Ramadan, many families find it difficult to afford basic necessities, let alone extra food for Iftar and Suhoor. Our Ramadan Gift campaign focuses on providing food baskets to low-income families, ensuring they have enough to sustain them through the fasting month.
Food Distribution: We distribute essential food items such as rice, lentils, oil, sugar, and dates to thousands of families. These food baskets are designed to last throughout the month of Ramadan.Iftar Programs: In many regions, we host community Iftar programs where families can come together to break their fast and share a meal. These events foster a sense of community and solidarity among participants.
Eid Gift Program
Eid is a time of celebration and joy, but for families living in poverty, the inability to afford new clothes and gifts for their children can dampen the festive spirit. Our Eid Gift program provides underprivileged families with:
New Clothes: We distribute new clothes to children and families so they can celebrate Eid with dignity and joy.Financial Assistance: For families struggling to make ends meet, we provide small financial grants to help them celebrate Eid without worry.
