Clean Drinking Water

Access to clean drinking water is one of the most critical challenges facing Bangladesh today. Many regions suffer from salinity, contamination, and poor water infrastructure, leading to widespread health issues like cholera and dysentery. CnS Bangla Foundation aims to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities through innovative solutions like desalination plants and hand-pump tube wells.

The Water Crisis in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is home to some of the most severe water crises in the world. Rising sea levels have led to increased salinity in coastal areas, making groundwater unsafe for consumption. In rural areas, especially those affected by flooding, clean water is hard to come by. Contaminated water sources are linked to numerous health issues, particularly in children who are more susceptible to waterborne diseases.

Our Clean Drinking Water Solutions

We believe that access to clean water should not be a luxury but a basic right. Our Clean Drinking Water project focuses on:

  • Installing tube wells in communities where groundwater is safe to drink.
  • Building desalination plants in coastal areas affected by salinity, providing thousands of people with clean water daily.
  • Educating communities on water hygiene, ensuring that they know how to store and use water safely.

Our first desalination plant, built in Satkhira, now provides clean water to over 2,500 families. Through partnerships and donations, we aim to expand this project to other regions. Your support can help bring clean water to even more communities in need. Donate now to be a part of this life-saving mission.

Together, We Can Achieve More.
