In October 2023, CnS Bangla Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh, provided vital support to Tipu Sultan, a brave individual from Bakultala, Shambhuganj, Raghurampur village, Mymensingh. Tipu’s life took a tragic turn when he suffered a severe road accident, resulting in a critical injury to his right leg. His injury, an “open right tibia-fibula fracture with severe vascular injury,” led to multiple surgeries and the eventual amputation of parts of his leg in an attempt to save his life.
A Struggle to Overcome Adversity
Tipu Sultan lost his father at the age of five, and his mother single-handedly raised him and his siblings. Despite their financial challenges, Tipu’s mother worked hard to support her children, managing with the income from a rickshaw garage left behind by their father. However, the family faced even more difficulties when they had to sell their garage to marry off the three daughters. In the face of hardship, Tipu took up work in various shops to support the family.
But fate took a cruel turn when Tipu was involved in a fatal road accident. The accident left him severely injured, and after multiple surgeries to save his life, doctors had to amputate parts of his leg. The cost of treatment was beyond what his struggling mother could afford. In their time of need, CnS Bangla Foundation stepped in to ensure Tipu received the medical care he desperately needed.
